Recognition and Honor

 

Dr. Dhabali is honoured to have received numerous awards and recognitions, which serve as a reminder to strive further and to extend our reach to a broader audience without succumbing to complacency. These accolades, bestowed by esteemed medical, business, community, and government entities, are significant not merely as trophies but as milestones in an ongoing journey. They are collective achievements of the dedicated teams behind our institutions, as the construction of diagnostic centres, hospitals, or hotels requires the diligent efforts of hundreds of individuals working tirelessly. These recognitions are shared proudly with all colleagues and staff members.

The following are the major awards and recognitions received so far:

  1. The “Northeast Excellence Award 2010” was presented by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Development of the North East Region (DoNER), to recognise Dr. Dhabali’s entrepreneurial initiatives.
  1. “NEDFi Award 2015” was awarded by the North Eastern Development Finance Corporation, Guwahati, in recognition of his entrepreneurial skills.
  1. 2020 Spring Decoration, “Order of the Rising Sun – Gold & Silver Rays”, awarded to Dr. Dhabali, President of the Manipur Tourism Forum, by the Government of Japan for promoting a better understanding of Japan in India and for deepening bilateral ties and friendship between the two countries.
  1. “Energy Conservation Award 2024,” presented by Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) (SDA Manipur) under the aegis of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, Government of India, for Babina’s Best Clean Energy Practices.
  1. “Lifetime Achievement Award 2025” presented jointly by Mylia Thiruvalluvar Tamil Sangam (MTTS), Chennai, and the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Manipur, in recognition of Dr Dhabali’s contributions to the Healthcare and Hospitality sectors and to society.
  1. “Governor’s Best Entrepreneur Award-2025” presented by the Hon’ble Governor of Manipur, Shri A.K. Bhalla, and organised by the All Manipur Entrepreneurs’ Association, for a dedicated and unwavering commitment to excellence in entrepreneurship.
  1. “Green Entrepreneur Award, 2026” by the Department of Environment and Climate Change, Government of Manipur, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to environmentally responsible corporate practices.
  1. “Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar International Award 2026” presented by Bharatiya Swayamsevi Sanstha Mahasang, India for pioneering in economic development in the state.
  2.  “RIST Lifetime Achievement Award in Medical Science 2026” by the Research Institute of Science and Technology (RIST), Manipur University Complex, for outstanding contribution in transforming healthcare in the state.

Other awards are:

  1. The “Bright Star of Manipur Award 2011” was conferred by the All Manipur Arts and Culture and Sports Development Society, Imphal, in recognition of his contribution to the hospitality sector through the establishment of the state’s first 3-star hotel.
  1. “Indian Leadership Award for Health Excellence 2011” awarded by the All India Achievers’ Foundation, New Delhi, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to national development.
  1. “International Healthcare Excellence Award 2011” by the International Achievers’ Conference, Bangkok, Thailand, for outstanding contributions to healthcare.
  1. “Indian Achievers Award for Healthcare Excellence 2012”, awarded by Indian Economic Development & Research, New Delhi.
  1. “Mother Teresa Excellence Award 2012”, awarded by Integrated Council for Socio-Economic Progress, Thrissur.
  1. “Nongpok Ningthou Award 2012”, presented by the North East Biography Forum, Imphal, recognising his role in transforming the state’s hospitality sector by establishing the Classic Hotels.
  2. “National Industrial Excellence Award 2016” presented by the National Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India, Mumbai, for excellence in healthcare services.
  1. “Quality Brands India 2016-2018” Awarded by Quality Brand Times, Mumbai, for excellence in the hospitality sector.
  1. “The 10 Hi-Tech Diagnostics and Pathology Centre 2018” by Insights Healthcare Solutions Hub, Mumbai.
  1. “Icon of Ethical and Affordable Healthcare Award 2019” presented by the Society for Promotion of Ethical and Affordable Healthcare (SPEAK), Chandigarh, India.
  1. “Entrepreneurial Leader of Manipur 2023” was awarded by the Thoubal District Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Thoubal, Manipur, for contributions to entrepreneurship development in Manipur.
  2. “Peace and Communal Harmony Award 2026” was presented by the All Manipur Muslim Organisations Co-ordinating Committee (AMMOCOC), Manipur, for being “Manipur Emagi Atangba Mapari”.
